Part 3 of consumers bill of rights tells us that if damages exceed $1000.00 you must fill out a D.M.V. Form 104. By law you are not required to have your vehicle repaired at the shop recommended by your insurance company. You are not required to get one or more estimates. You are not required to take your car to an insurance company drive in claim service. Know your rights. Contact our shop before calling your insurance company.
