So the consumer should understand that going to any collision facility is not the same. You should know if they have a licensed appraiser with NYS Dept. of Motor Vehicles. If they have any certifications and if they are constantly educating themselves in the repair of the changing vehicles. IE: electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles. Vehicles made of aluminum, high straight steel, magnesium. Bringing your vehicle to a facility not well educated can be a major safety factor.
